The Lompoc Hospital project consisted of three single story buildings constructed in two phases totaling approximately 111,000 SF. The project scope includes the new Replacement Hospital housing 60 beds, a new Outpatient Facility, and a new Service Yard structure.
An outpatient building with all dietary, diagnostic, imaging, and administrative departments was developed in the first phase of the project. A seamlessly connected acute care hospital was constructed during the second phase. The two acute care buildings are steel-framed structures with exterior metal stud cladding supported on spread footing foundations. The lateral force resisting systems utilize special concentric braced steel frames.
